Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data is processed by the MarketBridge service
(app.marketbridge.cloud) and the browser extension
“MarketBridge — 1688 product picker”, and how we handle it.
What data we collect
- Account data: your email address and password (the password is stored only as an irreversible hash — we never see or store it in plain text).
- Widget data: the products and variants (color, size) you add to the extension cart on 1688.com pages — product links, titles, product photos, prices and stock shown on the page.
- Service data: products, tasks and settings you create in your MarketBridge account.
Why we need it
- Email and password — solely to sign you in.
- The widget cart is stored on our server so your selection persists across devices and browser sessions.
- Product data is used exclusively for service features you launch yourself: preparing product cards and exports.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Data is processed only on our infrastructure at a hosting provider acting as a technical processor, which may not use it for anything other than hosting the service.
- We do not track your browsing history: the extension runs only on 1688.com product pages and processes only the products you add yourself.
- We do not show ads and do not use your data for advertising.
Mobile app
The app adds data that the website does not have:
- Photos and voice. Product shots and your spoken description go to our server to build
the card: read labels and dimensions and write the description. They are stored with the job and
deleted together with it.
- App analytics. Anonymous events: which section was opened, how long a card took to
build, how it ended, which credit pack was chosen. Processed by Google Firebase Analytics.
- Crash reports. If the app crashes, a technical record goes to Google Firebase
Crashlytics.
- Purchases. The fact and amount of a credit purchase. Payment is handled by the App
Store or Google Play: we never receive or store your card details.
Analytics never receives your email, password, marketplace keys, photos, voice
recordings, card texts or payment details. The app does not track you across other apps and
websites and shows no ads.
Where data is stored
On MarketBridge servers. All transfers between the extension, the website and the server use encrypted connections (HTTPS). The extension access token is stored locally in your browser and is deleted when you sign out.
Data retention
Account data and the widget cart are kept while your account is active. When the account is deleted, all related data is removed irreversibly. Backups expire automatically within 30 days.
Your rights
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data (email can be changed in account settings).
- Clear the widget cart yourself or request full account deletion.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in the “Contact” section — we respond within 30 days.
How to delete your data
The widget cart can be cleared with the “Clear” button in the extension — it is removed from the server as well.
To delete your account and all related data, contact us and we will remove everything.
In the mobile app you can delete the account yourself: Profile → Delete account. Cabinets,
products and settings are erased and signing in is no longer possible.
